BACKGROUND:
As the oldest and arguably the toughest of the team, Lieutenant Blankenchip has a long-storied history with Vigil team leader Captain Alicia Conrad. The pair were former member of the same CCI (Crisis Conflict Intervention) Special Forces Unit. He has also fought in many armed conflicts, both as part of both covert and public assignments . His military career was seemingly cut short due to a serious injury during a mission and forced him into early retirement. He later returned to college to hone his technical skills. He was brought back to develop the C.A.T. armor. Blankenchip’s hi-tech genius is what gives Vigil it’s technological edge in the heat of battle.
Lieutenant Blankenchip has no superhuman abilities but he has the C.A.T. armor which provides him with an assortment of technological and combat capabilities. The armor was developed by Blankenchip under the DARPA Future Force Warrior program-designed as the next step in field combat armor.
